4.4.- RECOMENDATIONS FOR USE
Move the lamp gently, avoiding brusque movements.
If the lamp is not in use do not leave it on, since apart from wasting electricity you will reduce the useful life of the bulb considerably
and overheat the cupola unnecessarily.
5. - EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT
The emergency equipment has a lead acid battery 12V 12Ah sealed and maintenance free which allows grid independence. Once
inserted the fuse 250VF5A (No. 10) will see a check for the LEDs. The battery status can be checked using the display located on
the front base No. 12.
1.
The blue LED (B) indicates that emergency equipment is connected to mains.
2.
The red LED (R) indicates that the emergency equipment is low, considering that in 30 minutes the lamp will turn off.
3.
The orange LED (O) indicates that the emergency equipment is at half load.
4.
The green LED (G) indicates that the emergency equipment is nearly charged
It is advisable to keep the equipment connected to mains for maximum
6.- CLEANING
Before doing anything make sure the lamp is off.
The lamp must be cleaned regularly with a cloth dampened with water, taking care that water does not reach the inside of the
equipment via the ventilation grille. For Example; blood, disinfectants, etc... a little neutral soap can be used. Do not use products
containing acetone in any case.
Dry the lamp well before use. If there is liquid inside you must wait until it has evaporated.
The handle located on the cupola is sterilizable by steam media at a temperature of 121 ° C with an exposure time of 20 minutes.

7. - MAINTENANCE AND UPKEEP

7.1. - PERIODIC CHECKS

Periodically, according to hospital procedures, the maintenance service should carry out the following checks:
1)
Check the general working order of the lamp.
2)
Check the mobility of the arm and cupola. See point 6.2.
3)
Check the equipment is still earthed and is correctly connected.
4)
Check its general state (of cleanliness, etc...).
7.2. – ADJUST OF THE ARM
Check the mobility of the arm and copula. If it's necessary adjust them, the optimum adjustment point is when the lamp remains
stable without touching it and be moved with a gentle movement. Do not over adjust the brakes, this only prematurely exhaust the
articulations and impede movement. Adjust by screws No. 13,14 or 15.
