6. The LCD screen should then display "------".
7. Enter personal user code a second time for verifi cation
and press the "#" button to confi rm.
8. Personal user code is programmed successfully when "IN"
appears on the LCD screen.
9. *To program second user code, use second default factory
code (either "1 2 3 4" or "1 2 3 4 5 6").
10. *Program personal user code upon fi rst use for highest
level of security.
To reset electronic safe back to the default factory code:
1. With the safe door open, locate and press the red "reset
default factory code" button on the back of the safe door.
2. Both personal user codes will be reset back to the original
default factory code to both "1 2 3 4" and "1 2 3 4 5 6".
Low Battery:
1. If "LO-BAT" displays on the LCD screen after pressing the
"#" start-up button, then the batteries must be replaced
immediately.
2. Battery storage compartment is located on the back side
of the door, inside the safe.
3. It is recommended that brand-new, name-brand batteries
be installed in this unit for maximum operating effi ciency. Be
sure to check expiration date on batteries.
*Warning: Never keep manual override keys inside the safe.
