Dynamic fine adjustment of a stop with a shock absorber as per "Accessories":
1. Mark the position of the shock absorber when it is fully screwed in.
2. Loosen the locking nut of the shock absorber.
Any deviation in the end position will be compensated for by the screw-in
depth of the shock absorber. You can do this during the pre-adjustment by
moving the shock absorber against the stop lever without pressure.
Warning
S Make sure that you do not unscrew the shock absorber any further than as
specified in the following table.

Otherwise the cushioning effect of the
shock absorber will be insufficient or with-
out any effect. The stop lever strikes
against the fixed stop (F).
The DSMI-... may then be damaged.
3. Unscrew the shock absorber a little out of its support.
This is only possible by hand when pressure is not applied to the DSMI-... .
4. Tighten the locking nut.
The tightening torques required can be
found in the operating instructions for the
shock absorber.
