The float automatically starts the pump when water level is approx. 53 cm. and automatically
switches off the pump to 5cm water level.
The height of starting and shutdown can be individually adjusted.

Please be sure to keep the pump in stable position (especially for operations in automatic
mode).
In case of automatic operation, make sure the float switch can freely move.
Take care that the pump is located by such way so you can guarantee that the suction inlet
is never blocked. It is advisable to place the pump over a brick, especially in muddy bot-
toms.
Both, the user and the installer, should strictly follow all applicable safety rules, laws and reg-
ulations.
In wastewater and sewage water installations, the requirements of DIN-1986 or local regula-
tions applied should be respected.
The direct fluid entering onto the pump or float switch must be avoided.
If the pump will be automatically run by float, the height difference between start and shut-
down should be enough in order to avoid the excess of continuous staring up. In any case
the free length of cable should never be less than 10 cm.

The electrical connections must be done by qualified staff. All safety rules and recommen-
dations for the prevention of accidents must be strictly observed.
The grounding cables should be the first to be connected, and the last to be disconnected.
If you are going to use an extension cord, check that the type and cable size is adequate, and
that the fixing is correctly made and tight.
The characteristics of the network (voltage, frequency ,...) must correspond to the values in-
dicated in the pump plate. A change in voltage up to 10% is allowed.
The electrical system must have:
• A proper grounding system.
• A pole disconnecting system (all phases). The contact opening of at least 3 mm apart.
• A high sensitivity switch (0.03 A).
• The power supply cable must be at least H07 RN-F VDE 0250 (DIN 57 282, DIN 57 245)
type.
