1.0 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
ENSURE APPLIANCE IS STANDING FIRM ON AN EVEN SURFACE. WITH PRODUCTS OF THE HOME FLAME COLLECTION INTENDED FOR WALL MOUNTING ENSURE SECURE HORIZONTAL INSTALLATION AS SET OUT IN
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS. APPLIANCES MEANT FOR WALL MOUNTING SHOULD NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE USED AS FREE-STANDING FIREPLACES. DO NOT PLACE COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS ON TOP OF THE
APPLIANCE. PLEASE OBSERVE NATIONAL AND LOCAL INSTALLATION/OPERATING REGULATIONS. ENSURE THERE IS NO BUILD-UP OF HEAT ON CEILINGS OR WALLS DURING OPERATION. THIS APPLIES PARTICULARLY
TO WALLS OR CEILINGS WITH A U-VALUE < 0:4 W/M²K. (E. G,.LOW ENERGY HOUSES).
1.1 SAFE DISTANCES
MAINTAIN A MINIMUM DISTANCE OF 2 METERS BETWEEN THE APPLIANCE AND COMBUSTIBLE ITEMS. THE DISTANCE TO THE CEILING MUST BE AT LEAST 1.80 METER. WHEN OPERATING THE APPLIANCE ALWAYS
KEEP A SUITABLE FIRE EXTINGUISHER TO HAND. PERSONS SHOULD STAY AT LEAST 1M AWAY FROM THE APPLIANCE WHEN IN USE. DO NOT KEEP EASILY INFLAMMIBLE MATERIALS / ITEMS (E.G., FUEL) IN THE
IMMEDIATE VICINITY OF THE APPLIANCE > 200 CM.
1.2 MINIMUM ROOM SIZES AND VENTILATION
ONLY LIGHT IN ROOMS AT LEAST 270 SQ METERS IN SIZE. IN ROOMS WHERE THERE IS PERMANENT VENTILATION THE ROOM MUST BE AT LEAST 54 SQ METERS IN SIZE. ONLY INSTALL FIREPLACE IN AN AREA NOT
SUBJECT TO CROSS AIR CURRENTS. AVOID MOVEMENTS OR AIR CURRENTS CLOSE TO THE FIREPLACE THAT COULD AFFECT THE FLAMES.

2.1 FIRST AID MEASURES IN THE EVENT OF CONTACT WITH FUEL
REMOVE AFFECTED PERSONS FROM THE DANGER ZONE AND LIE THEM DOWN. COVER WITH BLANKET AND KEEP WARM. REMOVE ANY CLOTHING THAT CAME INTO CONTACT WITH THE FUEL.
AFTER INHALATION:
SUPPLY FRESH AIR, IF NEEDED MOUTH-TO-MOUTH VENTILATION, WÄRMTH. SHOULD COMPLAINTS PERSIST CONSULT A DOCTOR. IF THERE IS LOSS OF CONSCIOUSNESS LAY PATIENT
IN RECOVERY POSITION PRIOR TO TRANSPORT
AFTER SKIN CONTACT:
CLEAN WITH SOAP AND WATER, IDEALLY PLUS T POLYETHYLENGLYCOL 400 IF SKIN IRRITATION PERSISTS CONSULT A DOCTOR.
IF THERE IS EYE CONTACT:
RINSE EYES WITH RUNNING WATER FOR SEVERAL MINUTES KEEPING EYES OPEN.
IN THE EVENT OF SWALLOWING: RINSE OUT MOUTH THOROUGHLY AND DRINK PLENTY OF WATER.
2.2 INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE DOCTOR
SYMPTOMS OF ACUTE POISONING: PERCUTANEOUS (DERMAL) ABSORPTION OR INHALATION OF THE SUBSTANCE ONLY CAUSES IRRITATION OF THE MUCOUS MEMBRANE CONCERNED OR SIGNS OF IMPAIRMENT OF THE
FUNCTIONS OF THE CNS DETECTABLE AS THE START OF A EUPHORIC STATE. SIMULTANEOUSLY CONSPICUOUS REDDENING OF FACE AND SKIN CAUSED BY WIDENING OF BLOOD VESSELS IN PATIENT'S PERIPHERIES.
USE ALCOHOL TEST TUBE TO SUPPORT DIAGNOSIS AND ASSESS AMOUNT INGESTED.
2.3 INSTRUCTIONS FOR INITIAL MEDICAL TREATMENT
GENERALLY NO TREATMENT NECESSARY APART FROM PREVENTING HEAT LOSS AND SYMPTOMATIC MEASURES INDICATED. INPATIENT TREATMENT AFTER POISONING ONLY NECESSARY IN EXCEPTIONAL CASES.
2.4 FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
SUITABLE EXTINGUISHING AGENT: CO2 , EXTINGUSHING POWDER OR WATER SPRAY JET, FIGHT LARGER FIRE WITH WATER SPRAY JET OR ALCOHOL-RESISTENT FOAM.
SPECIAL HAZARD CAUSED BY MATERIALS, WASTE PRODUCTS OR GASES PRODUCED BY COMBUSTION: CAN FORM AN EXPLOSIVE GAS-AIR MIXTURE.
IN THE EVENT OF A FIRE CARBON DIOXIDE AND CARBON MONOXIDE MAY BE RELEASED.
2.5 INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFE USE
STORE COOL AND DRY IN WELL SEALED CONTAINERS. ONY USE IN WELL VENTILATED ROOMS. ALSO PROVIDE FOR GOOD VENTILATION AT FLOOR LEVEL (AS GASES ARE HEAVIER THAN AIR).
2.6 PROTECTION G AGAINST FIRE AND EXPLOSIONS
TAKE MEASURES TO PREVENT ELECTROSTATIC CHARGES. KEEP AWAY FROM IGNITION SOURCES. DO NOT SMOKE.
2.7 DISPOSAL INSTRUCTIONS
MUST NOT BE DISPOSED OF WITH HOUSEHOLD WASTE. MUST NOT ENTER SEWER SYSTEM. FOR RETURN OF PRODUCT IN OPENED ORIGINAL PACKAGING PLEASE CONTACT MANUFACTURER.
2.8 CONTAMINATED PACKAGING
REMOVE RESIDUE FROM PACKAGING AND OBSERVE MUNICIPAL REGULATIONS WHEN DISPOSING OF DIRTY OR SOAPY WATER. NON- CONTAMINATED PACKAGING CAN BE USED PACKAGING THAT CANNOT BE CLEANED
IS TO BE DISPOSED OF IN THE SAME MANNER AS THE PRODUCT.
3.0 DANGER WARNINGS
DO NOT TAMPER WITH THE APPLIANCE IN PARTICULAR DO NOT TAMPER WITH THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER. SAFE OPERATION OF THE APPLIANCE IS ONLY GUARANTEED WHEN LEFT IN ITS ORIGINAL STATE. NEVER
BLOW ON THE FLAMES. THIS CAN CAUSE TONGUES OF FLAME AND THE DANGER OF BURNING. IF FUEL IS SPILLED WIPE AWAY IMMEDIATELY AND RINSE WITH WATER, TO PREVENT IGNITION FROM OCCURRING
OUTSIDE THE BURNER ALWAYS KEEP A SAFE DISTANCE TO THE FIREPLACE AND LIGHT FROM THE SIDE. CONSULT OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS. THE FIREPLACE CAN ONLY BE OPERATED UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION
AND NOT BY CHILDREN OR OTHER PERSONS REQUIRIGN INSTRUCTION. ONLY LIGHT THE BURNER WHEN IT HAS BEEN PROPERLY FILLED WITH FUEL AS SET OUT IN THE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS. PARTS OF THE
FLAMES BECOME EXTREMELY HOT! PLEASE EXERCIZE CAUTION WHEN USING THE FIREPLACE.
