select a suitable place for the assembly. drill
3 holes (7 mm diameter). use dowels to at-
tach the fi xing panel safely and fi rmly to the
wall. important: allow a distance of at least
2 meters to combustible objects. there must
be a minimum distance of 1.80 meter to the
ceiling. align the fi xing panel and mark the
drilling holes. after drilling the holes affi x
the wall mounting panel. check whether you
need special dowels for mouting the panel on
the wall.
hang HOME FLAME on the mounting track and
check that it is fi rmly secured.
remove all packaging materials.
remove all infl ammable elements from the
chamber.
place the ceramic sponge into the combusti-
on chamber, and place the chamber inside
the safety bowl.
place the extinguisher sliding gauges on the
combustion chamber. the extinguisher slide
without the holes should be facing away from
you.
insert the panels carefully into the specially
provided slits. remove one on the small pa-
nels before fi lling the combustion chamber.

the fi replace comes with a spout that fi ts on
all RADIUS DESIGN bioethanol cans, and you
should keep it.

make sure that no foils, packaging or other
combustible materials are in the combustion
chamber. remove the extinguisher slide and
fi ll the combustion chamber with max. 1.7
l bioethanol (max. marking). make sure that
no fuel is spilt next to the combustion cham-
ber. the ceramic sponge must not be covered
with ethanol. Only use RADIUS DESIGN fuel
(artic.-nr. 536 3l / 536 5l or 536 10l), do not

throw any combustible items or liquids into
the combustion chamber. when the tank le-
vel is low wait 10 minutes after fi lling before
lighting to allow the ceramic sponge to ab-
sorb ethanol. never put fuel into the sponge
when it is hot or during operation. before it
is put into operation again the burner must
have cooled down. allow at least one hour for
this. before recommisioning, the combustion
chamber needs to be refi lled until the max.
marking is reached.

only use long pieces of fi rewood (min. 20
cm) or long fi replace lighters (min. 20 cm) to
light the combustion chamber. there is a dan-
ger of explosion. should the burner not work
after three attempts to light it please close
the extinguisher sliding gauges and wait 2
minutes before attempting to light it again.

never light the combustion chamber from
above, but only from the side. keep at a safe
distance and remember that there may be a
slight explosion or tongue of fl ame!
