In any case the manufacturer declines any responsability if the product is used or operates under the following conditions,
considered as improper use:
Use by non-qualified staff;

Non-observance of the immobilization techniques;

Use non-compliant with rules/specifications in force with regard to safety;

use of the device for non-compatible pathologies;

modifications or violations which have not been authorized by BOSCAROL

non-respect of what specified in this information leaflet

4. SHIPMENT
The product is delivered to the buyer in a cardboard box. Check, on receipt, that the material delivered conforms completely to the
order and that the material has not been damaged during transport, by making sure that the packaging is intact and not open.
For any eventual anomaly, you must keep the packaging and contact the transporter and BOSCAROL within 48 hours
after delivery. Unless otherwise specified, merchandise travels at buyer's risk

5. INSTRUCTIONS FOR OPERATORS

The product has been made for a professional use. The operators, besides the necessary technical knowledge, must have experience
specifically in the sector of assistance, and, particularly, they must have obtained some skill in the use of immobilization techniques.
They also must be in a fit physical condition because they need to use strength and muscular coordination so as to guarantee the
maximum level of safety for the patient in every situation.
The vacuum mattress can be set to work only when there is absolute certainty of the efficiency of all its components and devices. To
ensure this, BOSCAROL carries out strict checks during production. However, you are advised to carry out a further preventive check,
as indicated in the schedule
Check each part of the mattress or of the purchased fittings to ensure that they do not present
visible faults
Check that the nylon cover does not have tears or cracks
Check the working of the valves fitted to each mattress
Check that the belts permit safe, quick immobilization.
If the test gives a positive result, the stretcher is ready to use, if not please contact BOSCAROL Technical Assistance Service.
The test must be periodically repeated (see point "maintenance"), to ensure the perfect efficiency of the product
and the maximum safety conditions

6. HOW TO USE THE VACUUM MATTRESS

For perfect use, the intervention of 4 operators is needed.
1. Place the mattress near the patient to be immobilized.
2. Make sure that the material inside the mattress is uniformly distributed.
3. Connect the lift pump to the valve and, operating the pump, suck the air from the mattress (valve in "open" position turn
the appropriate knob counter-clockwise) modelling the mattress round patient's shape. If the vacuum mattress is fitted
with immobilization belts regulate their grip during the depression of the mattress.
