3.1 Fuel Replenishment
Never refuel while the machine is running. After any use, let
the machine cool down for at least 5 minutes, only then it is
possible to refuel. Fuel: lead-free petrol.
Never smoke near the machine or the fuel.
Never refuel near sparkles, flames or open fire.
Important: All cables should be removed.
• Remove the cover from the filler hole .
• Carefully pour the fuel in the filler hole.
• Never fill the tank above the upper part of the fuel filter.
• Put the cover back on the filler hole.
3.2 Engine Starting
• Open the petrol cock
• Turn the switch on
• Extrude the choke in the starting po sition (cf. air filter sign)
• Slowly pull the starting cable un t i l l you feel resistance, then give it a
strong pull to start the engine.
• Plug the choke back in the initial position when the engine warms up.
• Engage the appliance cable
3.3 Use of Generator
• Start up the engine following the above description.
• If you wish to connect appliances or electrical equipment, plug in the
mains voltage or alternative current outlet
• If the outlet short circuit or overloading occurs, the electronic safety de-
vice will put the machine off. The signal light will be on.
3.4 Switching Off
• Make sure that NO appliance is connected to the machine.
• Put the switch in the OFF position
• Turn the fuel cock in the OFF position
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Machine regular cleaning and maintenance is vital for perfect functioning
and long service life.
Do not smoke when performing any of the jobs desribed.
Never work near sparks, flames or open fire.
4.1 Air Filter
Air filter should be cleaned every 50 hrs of operation.
• Loose 2 hexagon-head screws.
• Remove the lid.
• Remove the air filter.
• Clean the filter with spirit or ethanol. .
• Put a few drops of oil on the air filter and press it down.
• Put the filtration line back in place and remount the box.
4.2 Fuel Filter
• Remove the lid from the filling hole.
• Pull the fuel filter out of the filling hole.
• Clean the filter with spirit or ethanol
• Dry it with a soft cloth.
• Put the filter back in the filling hole.
• Put the lid back on the filling hole.
4.3 Spark Plug
• Remove the ignition cable from the
ignition plug.
• Using the ignition plug key remove the ignition
plug.
• Clean the electrode using a wire brush.
• Check the distance of electrodes (correct
value: 0.7 – 0.8 mm) and adjust if necessary.
• Remount the ignition plug.
4.4 Oil Exchange
• Let the engine warm up.
• Unscrew the filler plug.
• Remove the draining screw and drain the used oil in a suitable contai-
ner.
• Check the gasket and replace if necessary. Fit in the draining screw
back in place and pour new oil.
• Put the filler screw back in place.
4.5 Silencer Check
• Let the silencer cool down.
• The silencer might be clogged with parts of the filter.
• Screw the lid off and remove the cover.
• Clean the surface with wire brush.
• Replace if necessary.
