To turn on the system 'on', press the ON/OFF button and set the volume to a low
level, the tuning dial light comes 'on'.
Press the function buttons(UKW/MW) for desired band, UKW or MW.
Rotate the TUNING control to the desired radio station, if you want a UKW stereo
function, press UKW ST. and the UKW ST. indicator comes 'on'.
Ajust the VOLUME control as desired.
When you have finished listening, press the ON/OFF button again. The tuning dial
light goes 'off'.
MW - The MW bar antenna is inside the cabinet. If MW reception is unsatisfactory try
repositioning the cabinet slightly until the internal antenna is picking up the strongest
signal.
UKW - The UKW antenna is the rod at the top of the cabinet. If UKW reception is
unsatisfactory, try adjusting the rod at any direction till the reception is good.
Playing Compact Discs & MP3 Discs
NOTE: Although this CD player can read CD-R, CD-RW and MP3 discs in addition to
normal CD, however, the playability of CD-R/RW & MP3 discs may be affected by the
type of software that was used to create the discs, as well as the quality and condition
of the blank media you are using. 100% playability cannot be guaranteed. This is not
an indication of a problem with the player.
1.) Press the ON/OFF button and set the volume to a low level.
2.) Press the CD/MP3 button for the CD or MP3 function, depends on your disc format.
3.) Place your disc(CD or MP3 disc) on the CD spindle with the printed label side
facing up and then close the CD cover.
4.) The disc will spin for a few seconds while the player reads the
disc at the read time, the disc will automatically playback, then the
disc stops and the display shows the total number of tracks on the
disc. Then start to play the first track of the disc, the PLAY/PAUSE
indicator comes 'on'.
5.) Adjust the VOLUME control as desired. Playback will continue
until the end of the disc. When the disc ends the display again
shows the total number of tracks on the disc. You may also stop
playback at any time by pressing the STOP button.
NOTE: When you play the MP3 disc, the track number and the folder number will display
in turn, i.e. '001' and 'F01'. During playing MP3 disc, the display will show 3 letters. During
playing CD disc, the display will show 2 letters.
repeatedly will skip higher folders in the Mp3 disc. Release the button when your desired
folder number is shown. The disc will begin to play from first track in the selected folder.
