Setup, cont.
Power inserter
14. Connect a coax cable to the coax port on the bottom of the antenna head,
and route the coax cable inside to the location of the power inserter.
15. Connect the coax cable running from the antenna to the "ANT/AMP" port
of the power inserter, and connect a coax cable from the "TV/TUNER"
port of the power inserter to the "Antenna In" port on the TV.
do not connect a cable from the "ant/amp" port of the power inserter
to the tv. Incorrectly connecting the power inserter will overload and
damage the power inserter.
16. Plug the mini USB into the "USB PWR" port of the power inserter.
17. Plug the regular USB into a USB port on the TV or 110 V adapter. If the
light on the power inserter does not turn on when plugging in to a USB
port on the TV, try plugging in to the USB port of the 110 V adapter, and
plug the 110 V adapter into a 110 V outlet.
18. Run a channel scan. To keep your channel line-up up-to-date, it is a good
idea to run a channel scan monthly and anytime a channel is lost.
19. The antenna may need to be repositioned. If so, run a channel scan every
time the antenna is repositioned.

troubleshooting
Issue
I am not getting channels.
One channel is missing.
The picture or sound freezes
while I am watching a
channel, or there are boxes in
the picture.
possible cause
Try running a new channel scan on the
TV. Try the antenna in a new location.
Signal may bounce off of objects; try
pointing the antenna in a different
direction. Something may be obstructing
the signal.
Try turning the antenna 10 or 20 degrees
in either direction to avoid reflection
or to better optimize the signal, or try
moving the antenna to a new location. Try
running a new channel scan on the TV.
This is often caused by a weak or
intermittent signal. Try moving the
antenna to a different location or aiming
it directly at the tower for this channel.
