Installation time: Approximately 30 minutes.
Important: Read through entire instructions before beginning any installations.
1. Mounting the Side Frames to the Wall Studs
IMPORTANT: Unit MUST be installed into wall studs. Do not use wall
anchors for mounting into sheet rock.
IMPORTANT: Do not over-tighten the Lag Screws (max 10 ft. lbs.).
They only need to be fully seated, no more. Do not use an impact driver.

1A:
Using a stud-finder, locate 2
wall studs that are 48" center to
center apart. Using a pencil, mark
the top mounting hole centers
48" apart. Make sure holes are
level. Pre-drill the 2 marked holes
using a 3/16" (5 mm) drill bit.
Note: While a 48" stud center
spacing is ideal, the HyLoft
Adjustable Loft™ has telescoping
tubes to allow for any stud center
spacing from 28" to 49" from
your convenience.
1B:
Mount Side Frames (A) with
Lag Screws (B) in the top hole
using a 1/2" nut driver or
socket wrench making sure
mounting plates are to the
inside. Do not fully tighten
at this time.
