4. Installing the Support Shelf Tubes

Start by placing (1) Inner Tubes (C) inside (1) Outer Tubes (D) with the tapped ends outward. Place this assembly at
the back of the rack at the appropriate height to protect the wall from the tire rub. Fasten both ends to Side Frames
(A) using the Hex Bolts (E) and Washers (F).
Using the (2) remaining Inner Tubes (C) and Outer Tubes (D) slide the tubes together and fasten to the Side Frames
(A) at the determined tire width so the tire sits deep enough to stand upright. Fasten the tubes to the Side Frames
(A) using the Hex Bolts (E) and Washers (F).
Fully tighten Lag Screws (B) into the mounting plates using a 1/2" nut driver or socket wrench.
Each unit can hold a maximum of 375 lbs when mounted directly to wall studs and the
weight load is evenly distributed.
Adhere the HyLoft Sticker (G) for convenient access to contact information.
Inspect all fasteners at least once per year in order to ensure that they are fastened securely.
