Step 6: On one end of the gate place a Wall Bracket onto the ends of the Adjustable Hinges, and
locate against wall or opening (Figure F). Note flat of bracket is down in image.
Step 7: Screw out Adjustable Hinge with Bracket to account for any wall unevenness or
skirting board.
WARNING: Due to the risk of entrapment, the gap between the end of the gate and wall or
opening must never exceed 65 mm. Do not adjust hinge beyond this distance!
Step 8: Fix Adjusted Hinge by spinning first nut back
against the gate frame and tightening with spanner.
Lock adjusted hinge by spinning second nut against the
first and tightening with spanner (Figures G1 and G2).
Step 9: With hinges adjusted and Brackets against the wall or opening, mark the centres for the mounting hardware.
Step 10: Remove Brackets from hinges and mount to wall or opening using 2 screws provided. Re-attach gate hinges
to fixed Wall Brackets.
NOTE: If wall anchors are needed:
a) Pre-drill a hole in the wall (7/32" or 5.5mm drill bit)
b) Insert the Wall Anchors (included) into the hole with a hammer, tap gently on the end until the Wall Anchor
is flush with the wall.
Repeat Steps 6 to 10 for other end of gate.
Step 11: Once both ends of the gate are securely mounted, tighten expansion
handles counter-clockwise until tight (Figure H).
Step 12: Release buckle and open flap to access middle hinge knobs. Tighten knobs
by turning clockwiseto secure gate in straight line or offset position (Figure I).
Step 13: To open door, slide trigger back and lift door
panel up to swing door open in either direction (Figure J).
Step 14: To close door, lift door panel up and align over
trigger tab and push door panel down to click and lock
into place (Figure K).
