3-way application (FIG. 3):
Connect BLACK wire to HOT or LINE conductor from power source and the remaining traveler wire; Connect the YELLOW wires
from each sensor to the same traveler wire (DO NOT cross traveler wires). Connect a RED wire from only one sensor to the lighting
load.
Cap RED wire on other sensors; Connect GREEN wire to equipment grounding conductor, "GND". (Green, Green/Yellow
or Bare wire) Ground wire power sensors must be securely connected to ground to operate properly.
4. Install sensor in wall box using mounting screws provided.
5. Restore power to the sensor and allow it to initialize (up to 45 sec).
6. If it is desired to change settings, remove the sensor's front button cover and see time delay and daylight control settings
(FIG 4).
7. Install wall plate.
Operation
Hubbell's passive infrared vacancy wall switch sensor
features a smart night light that turns ON the night light
automatically when the sensor detects movement. As with
any vacancy sensor, the lights in the room will turn ON only
when the front switch button is pressed and will turn OFF
when the space has been vacated and the set timers have
elapsed.
Unit Setup
The unit will initialize after 45 seconds of being powered.
Stand in front of wall switch sensor, the night light should
turn ON otherwise check wiring. Press the wall switch
sensor front button, the room light will turn ON and the unit's
night light will turn OFF. The room light will remain ON until
the button is pressed again or the room is vacated and the
set timer has elapsed.
Time Delay Setting
Remove the front switch button cover. The wall switch sensor
features two timers (See FIG 4). TIME 1 is for the smart night
light and TIME 2 is for the load (room lights). Both timer
default setting is 15 minutes which are indicated by the hash
mark at 12:00 position. To change the time, use a small flat
screwdriver to rotate the knob clockwise to increase time up
to 30 minutes maximum and counterclockwise to decrease
time to minimum of 30 seconds.
These timers can be setup independently.
Service Switch
The wall switch sensor features a service switch. If this
switch is in the OFF position, the unit will not perform any
functions.
