PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Electronic Steamer II is a high-quality, universal
steam cleaner for the following applications:
_Cleaning all models, plaster and epoxy dies,
crown and bridge frames, a wide range of
small objects, ceramics or prosthetic plastics
_Removing aluminium oxide residue
_Removing wax residue
_Cleaning articulators
_Cleaning dental tools and instruments
_Cleaning jewellery
The Electronic Steamer II has an integrated stainless
steel water tank with a capacity of approx. 4.2 litres.
A warning lamp plus an acoustic signal are activated
when the minimum water level is reached. If these
warning signals nevertheless go unheeded then the
heater will switch off automatically. A filler neck and
relief valve ensure maximum safety when water is
refilled.
The automatic scale monitor tells the user in good
time that the unit needs descaling, thus avoiding the
need for expensive repairs. Stepless steam pressure
regulation and extremely fine steam jet adjustment
make the Electronic Steamer II exceptionally con-
venient to use. The end of the ergonomically shaped
handpiece is fitted with a curved nozzle head.

USING THE STEAMER FOR THE
FIRST TIME
Unpack the steamer and check to ensure that it has
not been damaged in transit. Report any damage to
the supplier immediately.
All our equipment leaves the factory ready to use.
Before the steamer can be switched on, the tank
must be filled with water and power supply lead (2)
connected as instructed below.
Do not fill the tank with chemicals or other addi-
tives.
Check the specified voltage. Please ensure that your
mains voltage supply matches the voltage given on
the nameplate at the back of the device. Switch the
power switch (1) to the zero (i.e. "OFF") position,
then plug in the power supply lead. Unscrew the
safety cap (9) on the filler neck. The steam boiler
can now be filled using the funnel supplied. Ensure
that the water does not overflow.
IMPORTANT: Screw the safety cap back onto the fil-
ler neck, making sure the cap is tightened up to its
end stop. Also check that the drainage screw (12) is
properly tightened. Switch on the device by activa-
ting the power switch (1). The steamer will need
approximately 12 minutes before it is ready for ope-
ration. This will be indicated by the green control
lamp (4) and the pressure gauge (8). The pressure
gauge needle must be in the green area.
HANDLING
As soon as the pressure gauge needle is pointing to
green, the device is ready for use. Take hold of the
handpiece to remove the steam head (11) from its
holder (10). Hold the steam head over a wash basin.
Activate the steam switch to clean therequired
objects. In the case of small objects, we recommend
the use of a sieve (available as accessory). When you
have completed the steaming operation, replace the
steam head into its holder. To increase or decrease
steam pressure, turn the rotary switch (3) as required.
WARNING RISK OF INJURY!
The steamer is under high pressure when switched
on. The filler neck (9) or drainage screw (12) should
never be opened under these circumstances. Never
direct the steam jet at people or animals – risk of
scalding.
Always ensure that the power is switched off (1) and
there is no pressure left in the device before opening
the safety cap on the filler neck or the drainage
screw.
