Connecting the front panel I/O USB
connector
Warning: Failure to correctly connect the USB cable to the system board
can cause a failure or short in devices connected to the USB ports and
can cause damage to the system board.
See the system board documentation to determine which pins to plug
the USB connector into.
Use the following illustration to connect the front panel I/O USB
connector:
Intel connector
1 USB +5V
2 USB_P6–
3 YSB_P6+
4 Ground
5 OC#
6 USB +5V
7 USB_P5–
8 USB_P5+
9 Ground
Installing an add-on (expansion) card
To install an add-on (expansion) card:
1 Locate the add-on card holder above the slot covers in the back of
the case.
2 Carefully pull the card holder release latch up. Do not apply too
much force.

3 Remove the slot bracket cover, then install an AGP or PCI card into
the correct slot on the system board.
4 Carefully push the card holder release latch down, then twist the
latch slightly to secure the card into place.

Installing devices

The slide rails for 3.5" and 5.25" devices are located in the slide rail
holder in the bottom of the chassis. You can identify rail types by the
device holders that protrude from the sides of the rails.
