Decommissioning
Checklist
1. Switch off the pump:

3. shut off devices:
Check the spool valves (completely closed)
4. Drain controlled excess medium
5. Flange connections and installation:
Remove the screw connections and seals.
6. Clean the pump:
Purge the seal unit with water.
Purge the pump housing inside with water.
Disassemble the pump set, clean it, lubricate the stator inside and assemble
7. Store the pump
5.2
Disposal
Dispose housing parts, rotor and shaft seals as scrap steel. Stator, O-rings and
parts of the mechanical seal of carbon/ ceramic as residual waste. Collect Oil
and grease from joints and seals, dispose of according to local regulations.
