Addressable Control Panel for CO and NO
2
ZafirCO
If the concentration of toxic gas (only DVB models) falls below the concentration of ventilation 2
level in that zone, ventilation of the zone will stop only after the lapse of the delay time to stop of
ventilation 2.
In the case that the instantaneous concentration value measured by any of the sensors of the
zone were above the alarm value for a longer time that the delay to activation of alarm, the
alarm will activate in that zone, besides the ventilation 1 and 2 (ventilation 2 only in DVB
models) in this zone if they are not activated. In addition, the indication of concentration in the
display for that zone will be the instantaneous value of the sensor with the highest value in that
zone.
In this state the control panel goes into alarm mode, activating the buzzer and relays ventilation
1, ventilation 2 (ventilation 2 only in DVB version) and alarm of that zone.
When measures of the concentration of toxic gas from all sensors in the zone are below the
alarm level a higher time that the delay to stop of alarm, the control panel goes out of the alarm
mode disabling the alarm output and showing the highest average concentration of all the
sensors in the zone.
When the control panel exits the alarm mode, the ventilations will remain activated. Ventilation 2
will be disabled when the average concentration is below the level of ventilation 2 during a
higher time that the delay to stop of ventilation 2. Then, ventilation 1 will be disabled when the
average concentration is less than ventilation 1 level for longer time than the delay to stop of
ventilation 1.

Storage of the equipments and lifetime of the sensor

All COsensor equipment can be stored in environmental conditions ranging between 0 and
40°C 5-95% RH always avoiding condensation and not be exposed to sunlight directly nor
water.
The life of the sensors is limited to ensure proper operation prior to exhaustion or aging. The
date of manufacture is indicated on the sensor. It supports a maximum usage time of the sensor
of 3 additional months to the operational life to contemplate the storage and installation time
before commissioning. After these periods of time has passed, the sensor must be replaced.
