6. Before beginning work

Caution!
Pieces of plaster or corundum may fly off the model or disc.

Always wear protective goggles when using the Dual wheel model trimmer.

The discs rotate at high speed.
„ „
Never touch the disc when it is rotating!

Turn on the water supply. The Dual wheel model trimmer is fitted with a
solenoid valve  that automatically turns the water supply on and off. When the unit is
switched on, water flows to the grinding discs.
To switch the unit on, turn the respective switch to position "ON".

The motors  and  can be switched on and off independent of each other.

The water supply can be controlled for each disc by using the water control lever .

7. After completing work
To flush out the drain hose, allow the unit to run for 30 seconds before turning off.

Turn off the water supply and move the motor switches  and  to "0" (lower
„ „
position).
Note: Allow the disc to stop. Do not stop them with an object.
8. Equipment
The Dual wheel model trimmer is fitted with two special devices.
They are:
The Model Positioning Tool f. This is used to apply pressure to the model during trimming.
It protects the model from damage and avoids injury to the operator's hands. The
Angulation Device e.This device allows you to trim models to a predetermined angle.

9. Maintenance
Caution! Always unplug the unit before cleaning or carrying out any
maintenance work. Never clean the unit by holding it under running
water!
The guide system for the model positioning tool and the angulation device must be
cleaned regularly. To clean the workplate, remove the bolt  under the plate. The
workplate can now be removed and cleaned.
The Dual wheel model trimmer should be cleaned externally from plaster residues on
a weekly basis. Every 3 weeks remove the front casing in order to clean the plaster
deposits from the water pipe. To do this, remove the acorn nuts  using the enclosed
key  and then remove the front casing.
Check the hoses and couplings at regular intervals to ensure that they do not
leak.
10. Changing the corundum disc
The unit is fitted with a fine  and a coarse  corundum disc. Both sides of the disc
can be used:
Caution! Unplug the unit from the electricity supply (Danger of accidents)
Unscrew the domed nuts  using the spanner wrench  and remove the front

panel.
Using the spanner wrench  remove the coupling for the water supply.

The corundum disc can now be removed with the Allen wrench  and either be

turned around or replaced.
Before reusing a disc, check it to be sure it is undamaged!
Mount the corundum disc in the correct position against the disc holder.

Reconnect the water supply and direct it towards the center of the disc.
„ „
Clean the rubber seal at the front and replace the front panel.
