6.4 Starting
Choose an electrical outlet near the equipment and appropriate for the equipment
power. Use the supplied connection cable or a similar one.
At the back of the incubator there is an additional power outlet to connect the
agitator power and thus be able to turn off the assembly only through the incu-
bator main switch.
It starts with the MAIN SCREEN when pressing the main switch (Fig. 6.4).
RUN & STOP buttons are activated according to the state they were when swit-
ching the incubator off with the O/I switch the last time.
From this screen, you can access the different operating options:
Settings menu. (See chapter 8.5)
Simple work mode / programming. (See chapter 7)
Start / stop the incubator.
The status bar indicates in which menu is located, the date and time and if there
is any type of communication connected (in the example, the USB connection
icon appears).
6.5 Installation of the paper chart recorder
1. Open the recorder lid by using the key
2. Remove the needle
3. Unscrew the shaft handle and remove the paper
4. Pull out the shaft to remove the recorder
5. Insert the battery into the rear part
6. Insert the recorder again
7. Put the needle again and close the recorder
8. Close the recorder lid again
Use a good quality alkaline battery to ensure a duration of more than
6 months.
Note: the recorder needle is supplied with a cap that protects it during
transport. Remove it before using the recorder.
