3. INSTALLATION
Choosing the installation place
When analytical balances series 5134IN, 5134EX and 5133 are used under routine
test lab or industrial measuring room, the weighing speed will be much quicker and
the result more accurate. The conditions of installation place of the balance should be
as below:
1.
The working room should be clean and dry.
2.
The balance should be placed on a solid, stable, horizontal and plain flat surface.
3.
Avoid locations in which the balance can be exposed to any of the following
situations:
b) Airflows coming from air conditioners, fans, doors or windows.
c)
Vibration from surrounding or nearby equipments
d) Direct sunlight and radiation
e) Electromagnetic waves or fields
4.
Do not use the balance anywhere exposed to explosive, combustible or corrosive
gases.
5.
Don't use the balance under the condition of high humidity or high dust.
6.
When moved from a colder to a warmer place, the accuracy and reliability of the
scale will be influenced by the moisture condensation inside the balance. In order
to eliminate this influence, it is better to put the scale in the working place without
power supply for 2 hours.
7.
Avoid extreme temperatures or exposure to direct sunlight or air conditioners.
The ideal working temperature is 20ºC-25ºC with a fluctuation temperature not
higher than 1ºC/h.
8.
Keep the balance clean.
9.
Do not stack material on the balance scale when not in use.
10. Use the correct power supply and voltage with the balance; the balance is
supplied with a power adapter 110-220V/50-60Hz.
