14. SINGLE PHASE MOTOR
Single-phase 220V motors must work with a capacitor with an adequate capacity for the power
permanently connected to the circuit.
As indicated in the image, the yellow wire is the common one and has to be connected to the L
line, interposing a suitable overload relay.
The blue wire is the phase and has to be connected to line N.
The brown wire must be connected to a connector on the capacitor; the other connector of the
capacitor must be connected to the N line together with the blue cable.
