The Little Giant fogger models FG-1 and FG-1-PW are designed to
be installed in the water reservoir of a tabletop fountain. The fogger
unit is for indoor use only. When properly installed, the fogger will
produce a fine mist appearing as fog.
The Little Giant fogger is carefully packaged, inspected and tested
to ensure safe operation and delivery. When you receive your
fogger, examine it carefully for any damage or component break-
age that might have occurred during shipment. If damage has
occurred, make notation and notify and/or return to the place of
purchase, and they will assist you in the replacement or repair.
Please read these instructions and safety guidelines carefully
before use. Pay particular attention to the warnings given in these
instructions. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE INSTRUCTIONS
COULD RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR PROPERTY
DAMAGE. RETAIN THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE
REFERENCE.
SAFETY GUIDELINES
1. Do not use with flammable or explosive fluids such as gasoline,
fuel oil, kerosene, etc. Do not use in explosive atmospheres.

handling or cleaning the unit.
3. Do not handle the fogger with wet hands or when standing
on a wet or damp surface, or in water. There is a hazard of
electric shock.
4. Do not touch the fogger unit during operation or immediately
after operating. Unplug the unit and allow to cool before
removing it from the water.
5. Do not connect to voltage above 120 VAC.
6. Do not operate fogger unless it is completely assembled.
There is a hazard of electric shock.
7. Avoid damaging the power cord from bending it or touching
sharp objects.

INSTALLATION
1. DO NOT INSTALL WHERE THERE WILL BE LIVE ORGANISMS
INCLUDING FISH AND PLANTS. THE FOGGER UNIT MAY
INCREASE THE WATER TEMPERATURE!
2. Lay out the power cord and transformer so that they will not
be a stumbling hazard. Place the fogger unit within a clear and
unobstructed path to the transformer and power socket.
3. The transformer and electrical connections must never come
in contact with water.
4. Do not allow the fogger unit to run while the water feature
reservoir is low or empty. This will damage the fogger unit.
Always maintain at least 1.75" of water depth (Figure 1).
5. The power cord plug should always be accessible.
6. Do not place a container, cup or any other object over the fogger
unit. Water must be allowed to circulate to cool the unit.
7. The fogger may become hot during operation and may heat the
water. Therefore, the fogger unit and the water container must
be handled with care.
8. Do not operate the fogger for more than 8 hours per day.
9. Do not leave the fogger operating if it will be unattended for
long periods of time.
10. DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN TO OPERATE THE FOGGER.
ELECTRICAL SHOCK AND/OR PERSONAL INJURY MAY
RESULT.
OPERATION
1. Carefully place the fogger unit (without attaching to power)
into the water container so that the top of the fogger's water
sensor is approximately 1" below the water level. If the fogger
unit is placed too deep in the water it will not produce fog.
2. The fogger unit creates small jets of water while in operation.
Make sure your container is large enough to prevent water
from splashing outside the container. DO NOT PLACE THE
UNIT WHERE WATER SPILLAGE OR CONDENSATION WILL
CAUSE DAMAGE TO PROPERTY SUCH AS FURNITURE
AND ELECTRONICS OR CAUSE SLIPPERY FLOORS.
3. Connect the power cable leading from the fogger unit to the
transformer power cable.
4. Plug the transformer unit into the 120 Volt AC power socket.
A red light on the fogger unit indicates the fogger unit is on.
If installed correctly it will begin to produce fog immediately. If
the red light is illuminated and fog is not being produced, try
adding more water to cover the water sensor (shown in Figure
1). If water does not cover the water sensor, the fogger will not
operate.
