FEATURES
The stethoscope is a unit made of chest piece, stethoscope tubing and
headband with attached ear tips. ERKA. stethoscopes have model-specific
features, which are described in the following.
SENSITIVE
Dual-diaphragm, two-channel tube. Due to the dual-diaphragm, a perfect
auscultation of low and high tones is facilitated and thus a wide range of
applications in diagnostic medicine for checking heart, lungs and bowel
sounds is given.
PRECISE
Dual-diaphragm, funnel, two-channel tube. The dual-diaphragm allows the
auscultation of high and low-frequency sounds, while the funnel is
used for specially listening to low frequencies (cardiology/heart sounds).
CLASSIC
Dual-diaphragm, single-tube. The auscultation is optimized by the high
specific weight of the brass body and will thus reliably avoid background
noise.
FINESSE
Convex diaphragm, funnel, two-channel tube. The membrane side is used
for auscultation of the entire frequency range, the funnel side for the auscul-
tation of lower frequencies.
FINESSE CHILD
The small variation of the Finesse permits perfect acoustics for the little
hearts with small membrane side and funnel side.
FINESSE²
Two membranes, double-channel-tube. The only stethoscope ERKA. of our
ERKA.-Family with two membrane sides, which make the complete frequen-
cy spectrum perfectly audible respectively.
FINESSE² CHILD
The small version of Finesse² especially developed for paediatricians and
specialists in infant medicine.
