This Is the FRITZ!Powerline 530E
With FRITZ!Powerline 530E you can use the existing electrical wiring in your home for
data transmission.
To start operation, plug the
FRITZ!Powerline adapter into any
outlets in your home. Just connect
your FRITZ!Box and computers or other
network devices to the FRITZ!Powerline
adapter—and you're fi nished.
With the AVM FRITZ!Powerline software
you manage your powerline network
and can view detailed information
about connections.
As the FRITZ!Powerline 530E Set is pre-
confi gured and encrypted upon delivery,
it is ready for immediate use.
You can add additional powerline
adapters from any manufacturers to
your powerline network at any time in
just a few simple steps.

Button and LAN Port
FRITZ!Powerline 530E has two buttons for manual operation and one LAN port for
connecting to computers and network devices.
With the "Security" button on FRITZ!Powerline 530E you can
 integrate the device into an existing powerline
network (see page 13)
 restore the factory settings (hold down for 10
to 15 seconds)
The Internal Plug
FRITZ!Powerline's internal plug has a
line fi lter to protect connections from
interference. So always connect the
FRITZ!Powerline adapter directly to the
outlets in your home and then connect the
power outlet strip and other devices to
the internal plug. This provides for high-
quality connections without blocking your
electrical outlets.
