The fact that the towing bracket has been mounted to the vehicle must be entered in the
vehicle papers at the next possible opportunity. The mounting instructions must be added to
the vehicle papers.
General Installation Intructions:
If present, remove insulating compound and/or underseal in the area of the towing bracket
contact surfaces. Coat bare bodywork with anti-corrosion paint.
Mount 7-pin electrical system as per DINV 72570.
Mount 13-pin electrical system as per ISO 11446.
Retighten all mounting bolts of the towing bracket after aprox. 1000 towing km. Please note,
that after mounting the drawbar the mass of your vehicle will change.
Mounting instructions:
Dismantle the bumper, then make cutting on the rear panel at the end of the chassis limbs
–
according to the enclosed punching template.
Place the accessory plates No. 2 into the chassis limbs, then fix them loosely at points „a"
–
according to the drawing.
Fix the body of the drawhook (1) loosely to the accessory plates No. 2 at points „b", and
–
to the rear panel at points „c".
Set the drawhhok into the centre, then finalise the tightening of the bolts.

Drill the rear panel with bit ∅12 mm through points „d" and „e".
–
Fix the body of the drawhook to the rear panel at points „e".
–
Place the accessory plates No. 3 and 5 into the trunk, then fix them at points „d".
–
Drill the bottom plate with bit ∅12 mm through points „f" on both sides.
–
Fix the accessory plates No. 4 and 6 through points „d" and „f".
–
Finalise the tightening of all the bolts.

Make cutting on the bumper according to the enclosed punching template, and on the
–
strainers according to the drawing.
By means of opening the rear cable bundle, complete the electrical connections according
–
to the regulations.
Reinstall the bumper.
–
Only specialised services are authorised to install drawhooks.
