Mounting
Before starting the installation:
Make sure that the product purchased is of adequate size
for the chosen installation area.
Remove the active carbon filter(s)* if provided (see the
relevant paragraph). These are only replaced if using the
hood in the recirculation version.
Make sure that there is no other material (for transport)
inside the hood (e.g., screws*, warranties*, etc.) if so,
remove and keep them.
The hood is equipped with anchors suitable for most
walls/ceilings. However, you should contact a qualified
technician to ensure that the material is appropriate for the
type of wall/ceiling. The wall/ceiling must be strong enough to
support the weight of the hood.
Use
The hood is designed to be used in the external exhaust
version or internal recirculation filter version.
External exhaust version
The vapours are vented outside or through a discharge pipe
attached to the connection flange, which is located above the
hood.
Warning!
The discharge pipe is not provided and must be purchased
separately.
The diameter of the discharge pipe must be equal to the
connection flange.
If the hood is equipped with a carbon filter, it must be
removed.
Connect the hood to the pipes and vent holes in the wall with
a diameter equivalent to the air outlet (connection collar).
The use of pipes and wall vent holes with a smaller diameter
will result in lower efficiency and a significant increase in
noise.
We accept no responsibility in this regard.
!
Use a pipe of the necessary length.
!
Pipe elbows must be kept to a minimum (maximum
elbow angle: 90°).
!
Avoid excessive variations in pipe section.
Recirculation version
The air suctioned will be degreased and deodorized before
being sent into the room.
To use this version hood you must install an additional active

Grease filter
Fig. 10
It retains grease particles from cooking.
The metal grease filter must be cleaned once a month using
mild detergents either by hand or in the dishwasher at low
temperature in the short cycle.
Washing the metal grease filter in the dishwasher may cause
discolouration. However, the filter characteristics will not
change.
To remove the grease filter, pull the release handle.
