Possible Cause
Pressure incorrect
Material hose clogged
Air blockage
Incompatible abrasive (too coarse or too heavy)
Damp abrasive
Water in air supply
Incompatible abrasive (too coarse or too heavy)
Worn nozzle
Abrasive build-up around nozzle
Air leak
Throttle valve O-ring or valve seat damaged
If the above troubleshooting solutions fail, contact your dealer or an authorised Silverline service centre.
Solution
Set the correct air pressure according to the specification
Remove rubber hose amd remove blockages
Check air supply; disassemble and clean sandblasting gun if necessary
Choose suitable abrasive
Replace with dry abrasive (damp material can be dried and reused)
Check compressor and filtration system
Choose suitable abrasive
Replace nozzle
Remove nozzle and clean
Check all fittings and hose for air leaks and correct issue by
re-tightening, using PTEE tape and replacing
Have the tool repaired at an authorised Silverline service centre
