When swivelling the saw blade, the
distance to the multi-function stop
changes slightly and must therefore
be readjusted slightly.
To set the pivot point at the saw blade level for the
first time, proceed as follows:
Danger
Only carry out adjustments on the
multi-function stop when the saw
blade is stationary and the mains
plug has been unplugged.
Attach the multi-function stop in the dovetail
guide on the left longitudinal side of the table.
Move the angle stop 1 to the 0° or 90° position
by releasing the upper handle 6 in such a way
that the stop rail 2 is aligned parallel with the
saw blade. Then tighten the clamping lever
again.
Push the stop rail 1 against the saw blade after
unscrewing the lateral wing bolt on the rod
holder 4 until the stop rail 2 rests parallel against
the saw blade.
Loosen the stop plate 11 (Fig. 3) with a
screwdriver.
Push the stop plate 11 (Fig. 3) up to the rod
holder and fasten it with the two cylinder-head
screws 12.
For cross and angle cuts on the pit saw, the multi-
function stop is conveniently attached to the left
longitudinal side of the table. In this position, the 0° or
90° mark is indicated on the angle scale when
making right angled cuts.
To make angle cuts, loosen the handle 6 (Fig. 1) on
the upper side and swivel the stop rail 2 to the
desired position according to the angle scale,
whereby a detent can be activated every 15°.
Retighten the handle afterwards.
The 15° detent can be activated and deactivated by
means of the detent button 14. This is done by
turning the detent button by 90° each time.
For angle cuts, both stop rails 2 and 3 can be used as
workpiece stops at any time. This means that right
and left mitres on profiles are also possible without
adjustment.
The stop rail should always reach as close as
possible to the cutting plane in order to achieve better
cutting quality. It is therefore notched at its ends, so
that the upper saw guard can be moved close enough
when cutting thin workpieces.
By moving the multi-function stop along the table, the
stop can additionally be adjusted so that an optimum
working method is achieved depending on the
respective workpiece dimensions.

Stop ruler (special accessories)

The 1 metre long stop ruler 15 (Fig. 5) replaces the
stop rail 2 (Fig. 1) and thus enables trimming
according to scale up to 1 metre. The supplied
trimming cover 16 (Fig. 5) can be used as a length
stop and adjusted according to scale.
With the telescopic rod, which is also available as an
optional accessory, the trimming range can be
extended to approx. 1.80 m. The support plate
provided serves as workpiece support and allows the
support foot to be fastened with the countersunk
screw.
For larger trimming ranges, several stop rulers can be
coupled with a connecting piece and supported via
the support foot. A support plate should be mounted
at the connection point of the stop rulers.

6.1 Installation stop ruler

After removing the stop rail 2 (Fig. 1), first mount
the clamping nut 20 (Fig. 4) to the angle stop
using the cylinder-head screw 21. The clamping
nut is additionally required to absorb the
longitudinal forces occurring when using the
trimming cover.
Swivel the angle stop to 45° for installation.
Slide the stop ruler 15 onto the angle stop until
the rear edge of the cut-out is in contact with the
short
stop
This ensures that the scale in the stop ruler
matches the saw blade at every angle setting.
