Rotary Drill

• Suitable for working with wood, metal and plastics, and
use of the keyless chuck
• Two speeds are available in rotary mode to enable
torque control
• Use low speed rotary for greater torque. Use high speed
rotary for high speed precision drilling
• For low speed rotary: align the function selector with the
1 symbol
• For high speed rotary: align the function selector with the
2 symbol

Hammer Drill

• Suitable for working with brickwork, concrete and other
masonry
• Align the function selector with the

Chisel

• Suitable for working with brickwork, concrete and other
masonry
• Chisel is available without chuck rotation (roto-stop) or
with chuck rotation
• For roto-stop chisel: align the function selector with the
symbol
• For rotary chisel: align the function selector with the
symbol (NOTE: This is a 'mid-position' setting. The
function selector does not click into place for this setting)

Selecting forward or reverse rotation

• The direction of the drill can be changed using the
Reverse Selection Lever (6)
• To run the drill in a clockwise direction, position the
reverse selection lever on the left, adjacent to the
symbol
• To run the drill in anticlockwise (reverse) direction,
position the reverse selection lever on the right, adjacent
to the
• Do not attempt to move the reverse selection lever whilst
the drill is running
• Do not attempt to run the drill with the reverse selection
lever in mid position

Keyless Chuck

• The Keyless Chuck (13) enables use of non-SDS drill
bits and accessories of 2 - 13mm (1/18" – ½") dia
• Use only rotary drill mode with the keyless chuck
To remove a chuck
1. Pull back the Chuck Change Collar (3) and pull the fitted
chuck forward, away from the drill
2. Release the chuck change collar

To fit a chuck
1. Pull back the Chuck Change Collar (3) and fully insert
the chuck required onto the drive shaft
2. Release the chuck change collar. Pull the chuck forward
to check that it is securely fitted. Repeat fitting process if
necessary
Fitting a non—SDS drill bit/accessory:
1. Hold the back section of the keyless chuck and rotate
the front chuck ring to open the chuck as far as needed
2. Insert the bit into the chuck
3. Tighten the chuck ring to secure the bit in position
NOTE: Do not run the drill whilst tightening or releasing the
chuck
4. When the drill bit is held tightly, test that it is central
by running the drill. The drill bit should rotate smoothly
with no 'wobble'. If the drill bit is not central, release the
chuck, and retighten
