TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

POSSIBLE CAUSE
AC adaptornot connected.
AC outlet not working
Volume is too low
Message recorded too low.
Line cord(s) are not
connected properly.
Unit is not on.
Phone line problems.
Unit is not on
Memory is full.
Unit is set to the
Anser-Only mode.
Memory is full.
ICM was more
than 90 seconds
The caller recorded silence,
busy signal or dial tone.
Volume is too low.
Volume is too low.
The battery is
weak or not installed.
The phone is not
a touch-tone phone.
Incorrect Access Code
Using incorrect
touch-tone phone
Memory is full
POSSIBLE SOLUTION
Conncect AC adaptor to DC 9V jack
on unit and AC outlet
Move to another outlet
Increase volume
Record message again.
Connect line cord(s) securely
Turn unit on
Call local phone compay for service.
Turn unit on.
Delete old ICMs
Set unit to the
Answer/Record mode
Delete old ICMs
Make sure ICMs
are less than 90 seconds.
Calls that fit these
categorieswill be cut off
Increase volume
Increase volume
Install new battery
Use a touch-tone phone.
