1. Take the ladder out of the packaging.
2. Check to make sure that all parts are included (see Fig. A).
3. Check whether the ladder or individual parts are damaged. If this is the
case, do not use the ladder. Contact the manufacturer via the service
address indicated on the warranty card.

Basic cleaning

− Remove the packaging material and all plastic wrappings.
− Clean all parts of the ladder before first use as described in the chapter
"Cleaning".

Setting up the ladder

WARNING!
Risk of injury!
Incorrect use may result in injury.
− Only step onto the ladder if you
• have set it up properly and in a suitable location
• wear sturdy shoes,
• carefully read through and understood the chapter
"Safety".
− Make sure that there are no children in the room where
the ladder is set up if they are not supervised. Children
must not play with the ladder.
− Make sure that the support feet of the ladder are located
firmly and flat on the ground. The ladder must not wobble.
CAUTION!

Risk of crushing!

You could crush your fingers when setting up or taking down
the ladder.
− Make sure that you take hold of the rails and supports
when setting up the ladder.
