INTENDED USE
This tool is used to lock the flywheel on BMW engines N55, N20 and N26 with automatic
transmissions and is to be used like BMW OEM 118660.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• If the centre bolt of the crankshaft pulley is disassembled or only loosened, there is no frictional
connection from the crankshaft to the crankshaft sprocket.
Warning: possible engine damage due to incorrect timings.
• Before starting the engine, make sure that the tool has been removed.
USE
For setting the crankshaft, insert the flywheel blocking tool in the starter sprocket as shown.
