10. Gently lower the basket into the hot oil.
• Watch the oil level and foam in order to keep them from reaching the
fringe of the oil container confirming the oil level is appropriate.
• WARNING: Lowering the basket too quickly or introducing wet food could
cause the oil to explode or spatter. RISK OF SEVERE BURN INJURY.
11. Close the lid.
12. When the food is cooked, turn the thermostat knob to the minimum
setting.

Helpful Hints:

 The frying capacity is 1kg. For optimum performance, we recommend to
use up to 600 g frozen fries with oil at maximum level.
 Do not keep the oil at high temperature for long periods. This will make it lose
its properties.
 Replace oil frequently. Discoloured oil, oil that emits an unpleasant odour or
oil that foams excessively when heated should not be used.
 Set the thermostat knob to the lowest temperature while waiting between two
batches.
 Do not leave the fried food in the basket in the draining position too long. The
vapours could cause the food to lose its crispness and go soft.
 Frozen food can be fried in the basket without being defrosted.

After frying

1.Open the lid. Beware of hot steam and possible spattering of oil.
2.Lift the frying basket and hook it on the rim of the oil container.
This will allow excess oil to drain from the food.
3.Lift the basket out of the fryer and place it onto a drip tray or
kitchen paper.
4.Allow the oil and the fryer to completely cool before moving or cleaning the
fryer.
It is recommended that once the oil has cooled completely, remove the oil
from the fryer and clean the
appliance.
