Batteries can be life-threatening if swallowed. Therefore, store batteries and remote
control out of the reach of small children.
Lithium batteries can explode if used incorrectly. Therefore, make sure to observe
the correct polarity (+) when inserting them. Only use the same equivalent type of
battery (see "Using the remote control").
1. Setting up your JOOULY
Important: Before you can use your JOOULY, the internal battery must be fully charged
once.
Open the DC charge seal in the bottom panel. Then insert the adaptor plug into the
exposed DC input socket. After charging, ensure you cover the port with the seal again
to protect it from dirt and moisture.
Caution: Always only use the adaptor/charging cable that came with your JOOULY.
Damage caused by using an incorrect charger will not be covered by the warranty.
The first time the product is used, we suggest you leave the power adaptor connected
for a minimum of 8 hours initially until the internal battery is fully charged.
This product has a built-in rechargeable lithium battery, which allows you to use your
JOOULY without being connected to the electrical socket.
The LED indicator light on the adaptor will light up red while charging and will tum green
when the battery is fully charged.
2. Switching on the JOOULY
a. Press the ON/OFF button to switch the JOOULY on - the LEDs will light up.
b. The JOOULY is now in Bluetooth mode.
c. Go into the Bluetooth menu on your smart device or computer, select "JOOULS
MUSIC" and start pairing with the JOOULY.
d. The connection sound you hear then indicates the JOOULY is successfully paired
with the external device.
e. This can be confirmed by the sign/word 'CONNECTED' on your smart device.
3. Adding Additional JOOULYs
It is possible to purchase additional JOOULYs to link with the one originally purchased.
If you wish to connect and synchronise an additional JOOULY, switch it on, it will
automatically connect with the Master JOOULY 'A' and will have the same music and
lighting. When using the remote control with the first connected JOOULY 'A', the music
and light on all connected JOOULYs will match.
Notes:
Whichever JOOULY is connected initially to your Bluetooth device is the Master 'A'.

If the ON/OFF button on 'A' is pressed for 2-3 seconds, the music and lighting on

'A' will go OFF. On the other synchronised JOOULYs (B/C/D...), only the music will
go OFF, but the lights will remain ON.
If you press the remote control to switch 'A' ON or OFF, all the other units' lighting

will go ON or OFF.
If you press the ON/OFF button of a SYNC JOOULY (B/C/D), this JOOULY will

disconnect from the Master "A" –the other JOOULYs' music and lighting will
remain connected.
