COMPONENT COMPATIBILITY: 3M equipment is designed for use with 3M approved components and subsystems only. Substitutions or replacements made with non-approved components or subsystems may jeopardize compatibility of equipment and may effect the safety and reliability of the complete system. CONNECTOR COMPATIBILITY: Connectors are considered to be compatible with connecting elements when they have been designed to work together in such a way that their sizes and shapes do not cause their gate mechanisms to inadvertently open regardless of how they become oriented. - Página 13 INSTALLATION PLANNING: Plan your Fall Protection system prior to installation of the Davit Fall Arrest System (FAS). Account for all factors that may affect your safety before, during and after a fall. Consider all requirements defined in Table 1 to determine the correct fasteners and placement for mounting the System on the anchorage structure.

STORAGE AND TRANSPORT: When not in use, store and transport the System and associated fall protection equipment in a cool, dry, clean environment out of direct sunlight. Avoid areas where chemical vapors may exist. Thoroughly inspect components after extended storage. CHUTES AVEC MOUVEMENT DE BALANCIER : Les chutes avec mouvement de balancier se produisent lorsque le point d’ancrage ne se trouve pas directement au-dessus du point d’ancrage où une chute se produit (voir la figure 4). Si un objet est heurté pendant le mouvement de balancier, la force peut être importante et causer des blessures graves ou la mort. - Página 20 INSTALLATION PLANIFICATION : Planifiez la configuration de votre système de protection contre les chutes avant d’installer le système antichute à bossoir. CAÍDAS PENDULARES: Las caídas pendulares ocurren cuando el punto de anclaje no está directamente sobre el punto donde ocurre una caída (consulte la Figura 4). La fuerza de golpear un objeto en una caída pendular puede causar lesiones graves o la muerte.
