CHARGING INDICATOR

This charger is designed to detect some
problems that can arise with battery packs.
Indicator lights indicate problems (see table
below). If this occurs, insert a new battery pack
to determine if the charger is OK. If the new
battery charges correctly, then the original pack
is defective and should be returned to a service
center or recycling service center.
If the new battery pack displays the same
problem as the original Battery Pack, have the
charger tested at an authorized service center.

illustrated or described above are not included
in the delivery.
2. SWITCHING ON AND OFF
Attention: Check the battery pack before
using your cordless tool. Only use the
battery pack listed in the accessories section.
For switching on the tool, first slightly push the
handle guard a little into position 1 as shown in
Fig. E3, following the arrow direction as shown in
Fig. E1. Press the lock-off button, then fully press
the on/off switch and hold in this position. The
lock-off button can now be released (See Fig. E2)
For switching off, release the on/off switch, or push
the hand guard into position 2 as shown in E3.

3. CUTTING
1) Installing the battery pack into the machine.
2) Make sure section of log to be cut is not laying
on the ground. This will keep the chain from
touching the ground as it cuts through the log.
Touching the ground while the Chain is moving is
dangerous and will dull the Chain.
3) Use both hands to grip saw. Always use left
hand to grip Front Handle and right hand to grip
Rear Handle. Use a firm grip. Thumbs and fingers
must wrap around saw handles. (See Fig. F)

4) Make sure your footing is firm. Keep feet-
shoulder width apart. Distribute your weight evenly
on both feet.
5) When ready to make a cut, push the lock-off
button completely in with the right thumb and
squeeze the trigger. This will turn saw on. Make
sure the saw is running at full speed before
starting a cut. Releasing the trigger will turn the
saw off.
6) When starting a cut, slowly place moving chain
