• ACCESS TO THE INTERIOR OF THE DEVICE IS ALLOWED ONLY TO PERSONS AUTHORIZED BY THE MANUFACTURER, AND
ONLY FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES:
- REPLACING A BLOWN FUSE located inside the device.
- DOWNLOADING FIRMWARE by means of the utility connector located under the cover (this operation requires dedi-
cated software and hardware).
OPERATION
LOCAL OPERATION
For local operation, turn DIP switch 4 OFF.
In local operation the unit controls the channels directly through the inputs, in two manners:
Monochromatic light
To select this type of light, turn DIP switch 6 OFF.
The 4 channels work independently and can control monochromatic light sources through 4 inputs:
• Briefly press the button to turn on the light of the relative channel, at the last used soft-start intensity.
• Briefly press the button to turn off the soft-stop light.
• Press and hold the button (>3 sec) to progressively dim the light up or down and vice versa, the entire excursion tak-
ing 3 to 4 seconds.
• When you release the button after reaching the desired intensity, the setting is automatically stored.
• Briefly press the button on input I5 to turn on all the channels at 60% intensity.
• Briefly press the button on input I6 to turn off all the channels.
RGBW light
To select this type of light, turn DIP switch 6 ON.
The 4 channels are all used to handle a single source of mixed light (Red, Green, Blue and White). The controls are availa-
ble on 3 inputs:
• Briefly press button I1 to turn on the light, at the last used soft-start intensity and colour.
• Briefly press button I1 to turn off the soft-stop light.
• Press and hold button I1 (>3 sec) to progressively dim the light up or down and vice versa (in the selected colour), the
entire excursion taking 3 to 4 seconds.
• When you release button I1 after reaching the desired intensity, the setting is automatically stored.
• Briefly press button I2 to change colour, choosing from red, green, blue, yellow, purple, sky-blue and white.
• By pressing shortly I3 button, a preset setting can be switched on and off.
REMOTE OPERATION
When used in remote operation the unit also works in local mode. Turn DIP switch 4 ON (can receive signals either by
Modbus serial line or through the controls on the inputs).
The module's address (0 to 99; max. 99 modules) can be selected using two rotary switches. On systems with multiple
modules the addresses must be unique. Use a suitable, twisted, shielded connection cable of good quality.
To balance the transmission line and allow communications, use the TLine DIP switch to set a terminal load on the module
farthest from the master.
