9. Backrest inclination
1. Unscrew the two side knobs of the backrest (ref. B)
2 Adjust the backrest inclination according to need
3. Insert the two knobs again and firmly tighten
N.B. For safety reasons, do not drive the wheelchair
with the backrest reclined
10. Footplate depth
1. Unscrew and remove the two screws indicated in
the figure
2. Adjust the depth of the footplate support
3. Insert the screws and firmly tighten them
N.B. Take care not to interfere with the front wheels
while adjusting the footplates
11. Footplate height
1. Unscrew and remove both screws on the footplates
indicated in the figure
2. Adjust the height of the footplates according need
3. Insert the screws and firmly tighten them

12.3 Use of the controls

1. Press the ON/OFF button to switch on the control joystick. The battery charge LED
indicators will switch on.
2. Use the appropriate buttons to adjust the maximum speed of the wheelchair (Tortoise to
reduce speed and Hare to increase it).
3. Press the horn button when deemed necessary.
N.B. Do not use the horn unnecessarily and comply with laws on disturbing the peace.
4. To move the wheelchair FORWARDS, push the joystick FORWARDS. To turn the wheelchair
to the RIGHT or to the LEFT, push the joystick in the respective directions. To move
BACKWARDS, pull the joystick BACKWARDS
