17. CARE AND MAINTENANCE
The devices in the ARDEA range by Moretti are CE marked and carefully checked before being
placed on the market. For the safety of the patient, your device should be checked at least
once every year by the manufacturer or an authorised laboratory to verify its suitability for
use. Use only original replacement parts and accessories for repairs.

controller
N.B. For more thorough disinfection, use a small amount of neutral detergent and dry it off
very carefully, making sure that no fluid enters the device.

Never use acid, alkali or solvents (acetone or diluent) to clean it
18. TROUBLESHOOTING
Moretti wheelchairs are equipped with a device that constantly controls the electrical and
electronic system, to ensure safe and comfortable driving. If a malfunction or error occurs,
the LED with a wrench symbol flashes continuously for a specific number of times to indicate
that there is a problem when the wheelchair is switched on. The number of flashes indicates
the type of malfunction. Several suggestions on resolving the main problems you could have
with your wheelchair are provided below. To start self-diagnosis, press the ON/OFF button of
the electric wheelchair and count the number of flashes.
