BEFORE THE FIRST USE Remove the plates as directed in the CHANGING THE PLATES section of this manual. Wash the plates in hot, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Replace the plates in the waffle maker. Oil the plates using a pastry brush or cloth.
