INSTRUCTION
Removal
1. Raise and support front of vehicle.
2. Remove:
•
RH front wheel
•
Wheel arch liner
•
Auxiliary drive belt
•
Alternator
•
Timing belt upper cover
•
Cylinder head cover
3. Slacken crankshaft pulley bolts
4. Tum crankshaft to TDC on No.1 cylinder. Ensure timing marks aligned.
5. Remove:
•
Crankshaft pulley bolts
•
Crankshaft pulley
•
Timing belt lower cover
6. Slacken tensioner sprocket nut.
7. Remove timing belt.
Installation
1. Hold camshaft sprocket. Slacken bolt.
2. Remove oil pump bolts.
3. Fit timing belt around crankshaft sprocket.
4. Fit timing tool to crankshaft sprocket with timing pin located in hole (1) in tool (No.1 cylinder at
TDC).
