Failure in following the procedure or in charging the
battery could permanently damage the battery elements.
A flat battery must be recharged as soon as possible.
NOTE The battery can be recharged at any
time, even partially, with no risk of damaging it.
NOTE The battery is equipped with a
guard that inhibits recharging if the battery
temperature is not between 0 and +45 °C.
1. Connect the charger to an AC outlet (1).
2. Put the battery pack (2) into the charger (3).
3. The LED charger lights (4) and LED battery
lights (5) will light in a specific order to
communicate the current battery status.
NOTE No lights are foreseen in the battery charger
CGW 20 Li. Make reference to LED battery lights only.

CHECKING THE CHARGER

If the battery pack does not charge properly:
• Check the output power with another tool.
Make sure that the outlet is not isolated.
• Check the charger contacts against short
circuit caused by debris or other materials.

CLEANING

Unplug the charger before cleaning or
when there is no battery pack inside.

To avoid the risk of fire and electric shock:
• Do not use damp cloths or detergents on

the battery or the battery charger.
• Clean the outside of the charger with a soft,
dry cloth. Do not rinse or clean with water.

STORAGE

If the battery and charger are not used for a
long period of time, remove the battery from
the charger and disconnect the AC outlet.
If the battery is not chargerd for a long period of time, it
must be kept in a cool, shaded place without humidity,
with environmental temperature between 0~45°C.
