V MAKING THE SOCKET
In order to make a socket ensuring perfect sealing with the 1S163 valve, you should necessarily use the supplied forming tool (f)
and screw (g).
VI MOUNTING / REMOVING TOOL
Placing the valve seat (c) and the external ring nut (b), as well as mounting / removing the valve body (a) can be eased by using
a special tool ordered separately under reference 1S164. Its use is recommended for the following operations :

A
Place the internal gasket (e) on the valve
seat (c). Choose the most appropriate gasket
size according to the finish of the socket.
B Mount on the socket (h) the valve seat fitted
with its gasket (use of the tool : see Chapter VI
fig. 1)

Screw the external ring nut (b) on the valve seat (c). Caution : Left-hand thread

Place the external gasket (d) on the valve body (a).

Screw the valve body (a) fitted with its gasket into the valve seat (c) . Caution : Right-hand thread, 1/4 turn

VIII CLEANING
The 1S163 valve should be cleaned at regular intervals with warm water. In the event of severe soiling, the plug will be unscrewed
from the valve body (use of the tool : see Chapter VI fig. 3) so that the inside part can be cleaned with water. Then the valve must be
re-assembled in the desired function (See Chapter IV).
IX RECYCLING
The 1S163 valve includes parts in plastics, silicone, aluminium and steal. Each of these items must be recycled according to the
laws in force.
