5. CAM MODULE
A CAM module (Conditional Access Module) is an electronic device
that incorporates a slot for a smart card, which equips the system with
appropriate hardware to view the contents of a specific encrypted channel.
CAM cards can be used in the receiver models DT-311/312. The
DT-312 dual module has two slots for two CAM cards.
Follow the steps below to install the CAM card:
1.- Remove the screw from the lid placed at the top of the module
(Fig. 2).
2.- Remove the lid.
3.- Host the card carefully into the CAM slot (Fig. 3), making sure it
is properly inserted. Note that the card has a single position of
insertion. Guidance placed in the card's lateral determines the
position.
