Procedure in the event of malfunction

CAUTION!
odours, unusual noises, other faults or operational failures, switch off the
power supply immediately and contact your Vitra retail partner.

Overvoltage

!
DANGER!
overvoltage:
ƒ Keep the power supply switched off during installation and
maintenance work.
ƒ Switch off the power supply if the unit begins to emit smoke, odours or
unusual noises.
ƒ Switch off the power supply in case of storms and before leaving the
unit unattended for extended periods.
ƒDo not pour any liquid/splash water into or onto the plug connections.
ƒDo not operate the unit if the power cable is damaged. Ensure
damaged power cables are replaced by Vitra Service or by a qualified
electrician.
ƒObserve Vitra general electrification notice. 710 254 24.

Overheating

!
CAUTION!
To avoid the risk of injury caused by overheating:
ƒafter the table has been switched on for a maximum of 2 minutes, do not
activate it again for at least 18 minutes.
ƒImmediately give the table a break of at least 18 minutes when there is a
reduction in speed, as this indicates that the table is beginning to overheat.
