POSSIBLE CAUSE
You may have used chemical
descaling agents different from the
recommendation.
Fabric fibers have accumulated in
the holes of the soleplate and are
burning.
Fabrics might not be properly rinsed
or the garments are new and have
not been washed before ironing.
SOLUTION
Use the descaling agent from the
recommendation (see "Cleaning", no 14).
Clean the soleplate with a damp soft cloth.
Please rinse the fabrics properly before
ironing.
