2. Use the auxiliary handles if they are included with the tool. Loss of control can cause perso-
nal injury.
3. Hold the power tool by the grip surfaces when performing an operation where the cutting
attachments may contact hidden cables or its own cord. Cutting attachments with a "live" cord
may contact the metal parts of the tool and could generate an electric shock to the operator.
4. Wear a dust protection mask: Do not inhale harmful dust generated by drilling or chipping
operation. Dust can endanger your health and the health of people near your work area.
5. Always hold the hammer and side handle of the power tool rmly. Failure to do so will result
in inaccurate and even dangerous operation.
6. Before starting your work, check the work area (eg with a metal detector) to make sure that
there are no hidden electrical cables or water and gas pipes present. Contact with electrical
cables can cause re or electric shock. Damaging a gas line can cause an explosion. Drilling a
water pipe can cause an electric shock.
7. In case of damage or replacement of the connector or a power cable, it should always be
carried out by the tool manufacturer or by the service of your organization.
8. Do not touch the bit during or after tool operation. The bit becomes too hot during opera-
tion and can cause severe burns.
9. Do not use the power tool with a damaged cord. Do not touch the damaged cable and catch
the plug from the outlet when the cable is damaged while working. Damaged cables increase
the risk of electric shock.
Warning: Reduce the working time in order to avoid risks related to too much vibration.
