POSITIONING AND STARTING
Follow the following precautions when positioning the appliance:
•
Put the appliance on a horizontal surface.
•
Put the appliance so that it is protected against overheating.
Warnings:
Electric shock hazard in case of use of the
appliance with damaged power cord (3).
Warnings:
Never start the appliance with damaged
power cord (3).
Even when not in use, disconnect the power cord (3) from the
mains outlet before mounting or removing the single parts or before
cleaning.
Before using the appliance, make sure it is properly assembled.
•
Before plugging the appliance in, make sure the motor unit (2) is
positioned on a fl at surface.
•
Insert the graduated juice container (5) onto motor unit (2) so as the
corresponding central hole engages on the rotating pin of the motor
unit.
•
Hold the motor unit (2) with the hand and position the graduated
container (5) by rotating it clockwise until it locks, making sure the fl aps
on the container (5) correspond to the grooves on the motor unit (2)
(Fig. B).
•
Position the fi lter (6) on the graduated juice container (5) (Fig. C).
•
Insert the squeezing cone (1) onto the rotating pin of the motor unit (2)
(Fig. D).
•
Plug the power cord (3) into the power socket.
•
Halve the citrus fruit to be squeezed.
•
Take one half of the fruit and press it gently against the squeezing cone
(1). The motor will start automatically, and the juice will pour through
directly into the graduated juice container (5), while the pulp and seeds
will remain inside the fi lter (6).
•
Once the whole juice is extracted, interrupt the fruit pressure on the
squeezing cone (1) to stop the motor automatically.
•
Disconnect the power cord (3).
