Power Monitoring software:
Your UPS must be plugged to you computer by the com port (RS 232) to take advantage of all the features
of the monitoring software. This permit to the provided software a complete monitoring of the UPS : available
power, quality of the power, battery load, frequency.
Software Guide:
Put the CD rom into the appropriate drive. It runs automatically. If not, please click the start button and select run.
Type D:\\Windows\setup.exe the click ok.
On the next screen choose your operating system. Follow the on screen instruction to complete the installation.
Launch the software, and click help in the toolbar to obtain a complete software guide.
Battery Replacement Procedure:
The battery should be replaced within 30 to 90 days since the Power on indicator flashes (see status table above).
To verify that the battery must be replaced, proceed to a self-test. If the power-on led continue on flashing,
then, replace the battery following this procedure :
• Unplug the cable from the RS 232 plug and every equipments and then unplug the UPS from the AC outlet.
• Open the cover using the "PUSH" button on the back of the UPS.
• Remove the old battery, and replace by a new one.
• Replace the cover.
• Use the UPS as indicated in the Installation paragraph.
